By supporting the Scottish Mountaineering Trust you will contribute to a wide variety of projects that encourage and increase the public’s enjoyment of mountainous regions, especially those in Scotland.  The projects we support include access and footpath maintenance, mountaineering education and training, Scotland’s volunteer Mountain Rescue teams, festivals and heritage events, renovation of club huts and expeditions with a scientific or educational objective.

The Scottish Mountaineering Trust is a registered Scottish charity and all donations and gifts will be used to support projects. Any gift, large or small, will make a  difference.

Gifts in wills

A gift in your will could help us support the enjoyment of Scotland’s mountains for future generations. This can be done simply by including the following words in your will :-

” I bequeath £(Amount) to the Scottish Mountaineering Trust ( Registered Charity Number SCO 09117 ) Willowbank, Tradespark Road, Nairn IV12 5NF, the receipt of the Treasurer, Secretary or other authorised official being a sufficient discharge to my executors ”
