Support for Hebrides Mountain Rescue Team

Hebrides Mountain Rescue Team has probably the biggest territory of any team in Scotland; all the way from Mingulay to the Butt of Lewis. What it hasn’t had up to now is a permanent base. A grant of £8,000 from the Trust has brought that a step nearer.

The new Carnach bridge

The last 400 m of the main track up Goatfell are never going to be a stroll, but thanks to path work this year they’ll be safer and more enjoyable. The Trust provided £5,000 towards the project.
