The last 400 m of the main track up Goatfell are never going to be a stroll, but thanks to path work this year they’ll be safer and more enjoyable. The Trust provided £5,000 towards the project.

In November 2016 eight Carlton Athletic Recovery Group members went on an emotional journey to Everest Base Camp helped by grants of £4500 from the SMT.

Removing a scar on Beinn a Ghlo
The Outdoor Access Trust for Scotland (OATS), supported by a £12000 grant from the Trust, has removed the white scar on Carn Liath of Beinn a Ghlo.
